Ok, so yesterday, I posted the following:
"Now, I see my Oncologist tomorrow and it worries me. I noticed yesterday that my colostomy doesn't look and isn't working exactly like it should. You know what that means kids: more surgery and more hospital stays. YAY! It's not 100% but again, with my luck, I'll be back in the hospital either in the next few days or next week. Keep your fingers crossed."
Reading that again, I noticed a mistake...the nurse noticed the abnormality and showed the doctor that I had over the weekend which, in turn, wanted to call in a specialist. That got me to thinking (too much of course) that they knew what they were talking about and of course, got me completely worried.
I saw my Oncologist today and he said that everything looks fine. There is nothing wrong with it. He even laughed at how little the people at Baylor of Irving knew. He is happy with my progression and I don't see him for another three months.
Again. DO NOT go to Baylor of Irving. I've heard it from many other people as well. Personally, the last time I was there, I had no issues but apparently, I just got lucky that time. If you have another hospital to choose from, please go there.
Sorry for the scare folks but thank you for all of your well wishes and love.
