Sorry for the delay. There just hasn't been too much to report.
I went to the doctor in May and he said everything looked great...so far so good. I go back next week.
This summer has been a whirlwind. I spent a wonderful week with my mother-in-law in June after celebrating her birthday and anniversary. It was very emotional since we lost my father-in-law last December. He was there in spirit and everyone shared some fond memories. For her birthday, I made her a scrapbook of their life together and she LOVED it. I wish I would have done it sooner so that he could have enjoyed it as well.
Last week, Ron and I bought a new, much needed, one-story house. I just had too many issues with the stairs at the other house. We love the new place and everyone who has seen it so far does as well.
My birthday was Tuesday and I truly loved spending time with my wonderful friends that have become family to me. There were several who couldn't be there but they were there in my heart. One cool birthday bonus was our friend Steve from Florida was in town working this week. We've really enjoyed spending time with him again. This weekend means more work on the house(s) so we can get the other one on the market ASAP, and hopefully spending time with friends that we haven't seen in a while.
