I talked to the doctor today and received my MRI results. The cancer has spread to my sacrum which is part of the tail bone. He said that I am being treated for it already but we won't know how well my treatments will get rid of the cancer until I have surgery in 5-6 weeks. This also puts me at a higher risk for the cancer recurring elsewhere in my body.
Also, I go in this Thursday, I go into the oncologists office to start the lab work to begin chemotherapy. I will find out more regarding chemo (i.e. duration, etc) then.
Ok, it's time for me to go lay down. I hope everyone else is having a better day than I am.
